Sounds like Satch in A VH cover band... Satch can't pull it off. I'm a Satch fan, I'm a EVH fan. Joe can't lose the Satch technique and sound and do EVH justice! Wolfie can sound EXACTLY like his dad. Vic does a decent job. Joe is there for name recognition... Sad.

I saw them a week later in MA! Sammy was signing stuff people threw to him on stage while he was performing. Class.

20 $ a song cheapest ga ticket in the back 325$ what a joke. seeing 12 killer shows for the same cost in denver. Just saw Joe with Steve and it was worth the 100$ for a seat in the 5th row. saw sammy last year $125 in the second row mostly heard the crowd singing. 2 out of 5 stars. Nothing like the 1986 kickass performance by Sammy and Michael

OMG you're the real MVP! I'm a local music lover to the Concord area, but due to some unfortunate events don't have the cash flow I did several years ago thus I can't afford to go to concerts and events like this anymore. Thank you for posting it!

Just was at the Show last night in VA. Been a long time since I have seen 5 musicians enjoy their time on stage as much as they did. Was this Van Halen? Nope but it was an entertaining show. Sammy and Mikey sounded great. 34 years old great nope. Joe played his ass off made the show and honored EVH with his performance. After the show if asked to pay double for my tickets I gladly would have as I was that entertained. Recording on you tube with an iPhone is not the same as what I experienced at the arena

I was at this concert on Friday night and quite frankly, the video doesnt do the concert justice. Sammy sounded great, Mikey kicked ass singing Aint Talkin About Love and Joe Satriani did a phenomenal job of having the monumental task of covering all of EVH's songs, riffs, licks; etc and giving it his own flare at the same time. One of the best concerts I've seen in a very long time.

We were in Sec 3 Row E and my ears are still ringing due to where the vertical speakers were situated. I don't believe anyone on planet Earth has earned the cred and respect to play Eddie's parts except for the mighty Joe Satriani. He did an amazing job Fri night. Phenomenal show top to bottom. Loverboy sounded great as well. 4/5 of the members still remain !!!!

Joe does an awesome job considering he's stated that he never played a VH riff ever in his life because he didn't want to lose his own style. Interesting to see a virtuoso tackle another virtuoso's style from a blank slate. Makes you realize how "lazy" Ed's timing was (not in a bad way; he just had a certain "swing" that no one else will ever duplicate). I'll be at the show in MA this friday with my 24 year old son. We both can't wait.
